Chenille weave hemp warp – corduroy ‘hoodie’

This hoodie features a hemp warp in a chenille weft. The cotton count is very high to bring out the velvet pattern. The loom was mechanically made by a second-generation historical weaver operating in a village in the province of Vicenza

Prototipo Studio Corduroy hemp licorice hoodie – loose fit

Oversized fit hoodie, corduroy rocker fabric made of hemp and cotton blend, with double front welt pocket. The garment features raglan shoulder detail to enhance the loose fit. It also has a shirt-effect cuff sleeve finial, and closure in the collar with hexagonal-shaped brass cufflink.

The jewel-cufflinks were conceived and designed by Prototipo Studio and made in brass exclusively at a workshop in Recanati.

Prototipo Studio: natural dyes – the mud green color

Prototipo Studio uses natural dyes for a cold-dyeing of garments made using synthesized pigments and food-derived ingredients. The mud green color originates from the pigment extracted from Calabria licorice root, in accordance with Prototipo Studio’s philosophy of ‘’Made and Sourced in Italy’.
