Fur polo shirt made from hemp, alpaca wool and silk, natural fiber color – production details, threads, fabrics

The fur effect is achieved by a weaving procedure similar to velvet or terry: the threads mimic the effect of fleece. The mixing of the three different threads creates an interplay between softness and strength. Alpaca wool is intrinsically softer than sheep’s wool and the percentage of silk enhances this lightness also adding a lustrous effect to the fabric.

Hemp fur polo shirt: production details of a limited series

The design provides a loose, oversize fit. This polo shirt has long sleeves with cuffs and a wide, buttonless polo opening at the front. Inside the garment one can recognize the denim-like weave that provides the garment with a strength that resembles that of a jersey sweatshirt.

Hemp fur polo shirt: available in two colors, natural white and anthracite gray

The garment is available in natural color, softer, similar to an animal fur – and in charcoal black color. In the latter case, the effect of the fleece is more like the wooly coat of a shetland sheep.
